ISP and Commercial Setup Information in 2 easy steps!
Step 1: sign up for Slurp news service
Step 2: Add DNS aliases or instruct news users to set up
their newsreader
Adding DNS Alias Info:
1) open the file for the domain you will be adding the alias to
in your favorite text editor
2) add the line "news.yourdomain.com. IN CNAME news.slurp.net."
3) update the serial number at the top of the zone file
4) save changes
5) reload named service (e.g.: /usr/sbin/ndc reload)
Newsreader Setting Info:
news server: news.slurp.net port 119
username: your selected username
password: your selected password

Radius Based Authentication:
Add entries in your radius clients file for 209.242.64.100 and 209.242.76.10
* - in most cases this should be user@slurp.net users who do not have @slurp.net
after their username may receive authentication errors
